Talking Fans > Mapping London’s Fan Makers

  • Wednesday 29th September 2021, 19.00hrs BST

On the eve of the launch of The Fan Museum’s ‘Layers of London’ interactive map, The Fan Museum’s curator, Jacob Moss highlights an ambitious project to identify & map more than three hundred fan makers active in London from the 17th century onward. Jacob will explain the complexities of a once thriving craft form, lead a virtual tour of the map and introduce some of the makers (and their fans) featured. There will be a short Q&A session afterwards.

The event will take place on Zoom. Attendees will be sent a reminder email and link to join shortly before the event is scheduled to take place.

CLICK to book. Tickets are available on a donation basis, the minimum contribution is £1.00. All donations are greatly appreciated and go toward supporting The Fan Museum and its cultural mission. If for any reason you are unable to attend the event, donations will not be refunded.
