On Monday 23 March 2015, The Fan Museum is holding a Seniors Open Day, free to everyone aged 55+. The aim of the Open Day is to encourage older people to visit the museum and learn more about the history of fans and craft of fan making.
On the day:
FREE admission to all visitors aged 55+ will include…
- Entry to the museum
- Curator-led tours and talks throughout the day
- Fan-making workshops throughout the day
- Handle and learn about fans
- Afternoon tea in the Orangery
Remember:
- All visitors are required to present proof of age to gain free entry (e.g. Driving Licence, Freedom Pass etc.)
- To book a place on one of the fan making workshops please call the museum in advance of attending as places are limited.
- Please note anyone under the specified age of 55 will not be able to gain admission to the museum on the day of the event.
