Description

In honour of the royal guardsmen the Fan Museum designed an exclusive line of fans depicting all the different Royal Guardsmen of the Household Division. These are the names given to contingents of infantry and cavalry soldiers charged with guarding the official royal residences in the United Kingdom.

Blues and Royals, a cavalry regiment of the British Army.
Coldstream, the oldest regiment in the Regular Army in continuous active service, originating in Coldstream, Scotland in 1650.
Irish Guards, together with the Royal Irish Regiment, is one of the two Irish infantry regiments in the British Army.
Scots Guards, has its origins in the personal bodyguard of King Charles I of England and Scotland.
Welsh Guards was the last of the Guards to be created and came into existence on 26 February 1915 by Royal Warrant of George V in order to include Wales in the national component to the Foot Guards.
